Hisar, 20 August (HS). A campaign has been launched by the Divyang Rehabilitation and Health Center run by Vivekanand branch of Bharat Vikas Parishad to make students aware of health and to check their health. Under this campaign, students of Seva Bharti schools are being checked free of cost and proper consultation and free medicines are being provided to them as far as possible.
In this series, a free medical camp was organized on Tuesday at Seva Bharti Bal Sanskar Kendra located in Sainian Mohalla. In this camp, experienced and trained doctors of Divyang Kendra examined eyes, teeth and general diseases and gave proper advice. During the eye examination, the eyes of those who are found to have cataract will be operated free of cost by the Divyang Kendra. 118 people including students and local residents benefited from this camp.
Chairman of Divyang Rehabilitation Center Surendra Kuchhal, Secretary Advocate Rajesh Jain and Project Head Ramniwas Agarwal said that Divyang Rehabilitation Center is completely dedicated towards health and social services. Therefore, a camp campaign has been started in Seva Bharti schools. Under this campaign, free medical camps will be organized on 27th August at Seva Bharti Bal Vatika in Rishi Nagar near the bus stand and on 3rd September at Seva Bharti Middle School in Satyanagar. He said that the free medical checkup camp campaign will be continued in other schools as well. He said that along with eye care facility, dental care, physiotherapy and general disease checkup facilities are also available in Divyang Center. Lala Devi Chand Grover artificial limb manufacturing school is also available here in which artificial limbs are manufactured and provided free of cost to Divyang brothers.
