Hisar, September 20 (HS). Guru Jambheshwar University of Science and Technology Vice Chancellor Prof. Narsiram Bishnoi has said that cultural programs do a unique job of providing a big platform to the students. He said that this program is based on a different thought and a different theme, in which the university feels proud to consider every student a part of this initial welcome program.
Prof. Narsiram Bishnoi was addressing the Swagatham program organized by the Dean of Student Welfare Office of the University on Friday to welcome the new students who have taken admission in the University. He said that such programs are a good initiative. An evening in the name of freshers is a bridge between junior and senior students, which indicates organization, coordination and balance. He said that while one expresses his feelings through art, an environment of mutual cooperation and harmony is created and such programs are helpful in developing mutual cooperation. They also build a good team. Through this program, new students can learn a lot from the experiences of their senior students and can know new opportunities of thinking through mutual exchange of ideas.
The chief guest of the program, IPS Dr. LR Bishnoi, while praising the talents of the students, said that such cultural programs show the way of living life, in which the social issues and reality hidden behind the art are there. He wished a bright future for all the students.
Dean Student Welfare Prof. Yogesh Chaba in his welcome address made everyone aware of the objective of the program. First lady of the university Dr. Vandana Bishnoi, Registrar Prof. Vinod Chhokar and Veena Chhokar were also present in the program. In the program, many excellent presentations of group art, dance, music singing and acting were presented on the stage from various departments. Director Cultural Affairs Prof. Himani Sharma expressed her gratitude. The stage was conducted by Dr. Geetu Dhawan and Dr. Pallavi. The program was held under the supervision of Cultural Core Committee members Dr. Taruna, Dr. Pallavi, Dr. Geetu, Dr. Sukhdas and Coordinator.
