Hisar, June 17 (HS). A 15-day summer camp was organized by the Karma Kalyani Organisation in Model Town. Children and women were taught sewing, mehndi, cooking, dance, self beauty course, art and craft for free. An exhibition of goods was organized on Monday at the conclusion of the camp. 60 children and more than 100 women participated in the exhibition and cultural programs were presented. Potli bags, gift packs, thalposh, lippan art, Madhubani art, wall hangings, toys made of soft clay by the children and women were the center of attraction.
In cooking, children set up stalls of coconut laddu, bread pizza, rasmalai. Tips of mehndi design and self beauty course were also given by the children. Kamal Agarwal, Sanjay Sharma, Manjula Khatri, Dr. Megha, Payal Vishwas were present as guests at the closing ceremony of the exhibition. On this occasion, Pradhan Komal Rathore, Deputy Pradhan Seema Bhutani and Secretary Mausami Kar said that such camps will be organized in future as well, so that children and women can improve economically. Karma Kalyani members Geetu Banga, Meenakshi Gakkhar, Ritu Goyal, Shashi Adib, Sanjana, Neeta, Savita, Shashi, Divya, Deepa Dutta, Santosh, Puja, Archana and other members contributed fully in making the program successful.
