Shimla, 10 October (Hindustan Reporter). The ongoing controversy regarding the illegal construction of a mosque in Sanjauli, the largest suburb of the capital Shimla, is not stopping. While the All Himachal Muslim Organization has announced to challenge the decision of the Municipal Corporation Court regarding the mosque case in the higher court, on the other hand, the Hindu organization Devbhoomi Sangharsh Samiti has filed a complaint against the special community (Muslims) coming from outside states doing business in Sanjauli market. Have started economic boycott. Devbhoomi Sangharsh Samiti put up boards with the names Sanatan Sabzi and Dukaan Wala in Hindu establishments in Sanjauli city. The committee asked the people here to economically boycott the particular community coming from outside states.

Devbhoomi Sangharsh Samiti says that the purpose of setting up 'Sanatan Sabjiwala' is that the local people should buy from Hindu shopkeepers and boycott outsiders.

State convenor of Devbhoomi Sangharsh Samiti, Vijay Sharma said that the campaign to install such boards has been started by the committee. In Sanjauli, Sanatan boards are being put up to promote Hindu vegetable vendors and are requesting people to buy goods from Hindu shopkeepers. The idea behind this is to promote Sanatan ideology. He said that he is also appealing to the people not to buy from outsiders and to promote local shopkeepers.

Vijay Sharma also said that in Himachal Pradesh's capital Shimla, a large number of people from outside communities are coming here to do business without registration and are spoiling the peaceful atmosphere here. We have to boycott them. For this, Devbhoomi Sangharsh Samiti has taken the initiative to promote local shopkeepers.

Meanwhile, the police has tightened security after Devbhoomi Sangharsh Samiti put up Sanatan boards in shops. Police personnel deployed in Sanjauli market are keeping an eye on every activity, so that the atmosphere does not deteriorate. On September 11, people of Hindu community had staged a violent protest under the banner of Devbhoomi Sangharsh Committee regarding the mosque issue in Sanjauli. During this time, the protesters broke the barricades put up by the police and entered near the mosque site. The police had to resort to lathicharge to disperse the protesters.
