In Sanjauli, Sanatan boards are being put up to promote Hindu vegetable vendors and are requesting people to buy goods from Hindu shopkeepers. The idea behind this is to promote Sanatan ideology. He said that he is also appealing to the people not to buy from outsiders and to promote local shopkeepers.
Vijay Sharma also said that in Himachal Pradesh's capital Shimla, a large number of people from outside communities are coming here to do business without registration and are spoiling the peaceful atmosphere here. Police personnel deployed in Sanjauli market are keeping an eye on every activity, so that the atmosphere does not deteriorate. On September 11, people of Hindu community had staged a violent protest under the banner of Devbhoomi Sangharsh Committee regarding the mosque issue in Sanjauli.
