Jhansi, 25 September (HS). Early in the morning, a huge ruckus broke out between a woman and her in-laws over property share at Beech Govind crossroads in Navabad police station area. Seeing the high voltage drama happening on the road, a crowd gathered there. During this, a woman poured inflammable substance on herself. Before she could do anything, the police reached the spot and pacified the ruckus between the two parties and brought them to the police station, where they were questioned and investigation started.
On Wednesday morning around 11 am, two women reached the market near Govind Chowk in Navabad police station area and started creating a ruckus demanding a share in the property. The ruckus increased so much from both sides that a woman poured inflammable substance on herself. On receiving the information, Navabad police reached the spot and brought both the parties to the police station.
The woman alleged that after her husband's death, her in-laws and her maternal uncle-in-law snatched everything from her in-laws' house and threw her out and are not giving her a share of the market built in the property. The woman also alleged that her maternal uncle-in-law has bad intentions towards her. Meanwhile, the in-laws allege that their daughter-in-law secretly married another woman and now she is creating this ruckus to grab the property.
