Ranchi, 03 October (HS). The hearing on the order of charge framing by the trial court in the sexual harassment case against Sunil Tiwari, a close aide of former Chief Minister Babulal Marandi and his press advisor, has been completed in the Jharkhand High Court, after which the court has reserved its decision.
Sunil Tiwari's petition was heard in the court of High Court judge Justice Sanjay Kumar Dwivedi. Advocates Prashant Pallav and Partha Jalan presented their side. Final arguments were held from both sides in this case on Thursday.
A girl from Khunti has accused Sunil Tiwari of raping her and abusing her using caste related words. The girl had lodged an FIR at Argora police station in Ranchi on 16 August 2021. The entire incident has been mentioned sequentially in the FIR.
