Mumbai, June 10 (HS). Bombay High Court on Monday ordered to remove the name of film actor Salman Khan from the petition regarding the death of the accused in the Salman Khan residence firing case in police custody. The next hearing of this case will be held after six weeks.

Anuj Thapan, accused in the firing case outside film actor Salman Khan's Bandra residence on April 14, committed suicide in police custody on May 1. Public Prosecutor Prajakta Shinde told the court that the magistrate inquiry and CID investigation in the case of suicide in police custody is underway and its status report has been submitted to the court. So far no evidence has been found in this report regarding Salman Khan's involvement in this case. After this, the High Court has issued an order to remove Salman Khan's name from this case. The next hearing of the case has been scheduled after six weeks.
