Prayagraj, 16 February (HS). The judges of Allahabad High Court will get a state-of-the-art library on Saturday. At the same time, the mediation center set up for settlement of disputes in the museum located on Drummond Road will also be available to the litigants. Supreme Court Chief Justice Dr. Dhananjay Yashwant Chandrachud will inaugurate both this library and the mediation center on Saturday.
This library has been developed only for judges. Here 50 judges will be able to sit and study together. Apart from this, video conferencing room has also been made. Sitting in this conferencing room, the judge will be able to discuss legal issues with the judges of Lucknow Bench or other High Courts. The library has been given a more detailed look than before. While earlier this library was on the ground floor, it has now been completely expanded to three floors. About 1.5 lakh journals and 1 lakh books are available here.
On the other hand, a mediation center will also be inaugurated in the museum located on Drummond Road. The inauguration program has been organized at the mediation center from 10 am. The book 'Courts of UP' will also be released in the programme.
Apart from Chief Justice Dr Chandrachud, Supreme Court Justice Pankaj Mittal, Justice Manoj Mishra, Justice Rajesh Bindal, Chhattisgarh Chief Justice Ramesh Sinha, Mumbai High Court Chief Justice Devendra Upadhyay, Allahabad High Court Chief Justice Arun Bhansali, Allahabad and Lucknow were present in the programme. Division bench judge, senior advocate etc. will be present.
