High Court cancels lower court's decision on Kejriwal's bail, AAP will go to Supreme Court

New Delhi: Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal has once again received a big blow from the High Court. The Delhi High Court has cancelled the bail, overturning the Rouse Avenue Court's decision to grant bail in the money laundering case related to the alleged liquor scam. The vacation bench of Justice Sudhir Kumar Jain of the High Court said that the vacation bench of the lower court did not use its discretion in hearing the case. However, now you will go to the Supreme Court on Wednesday against the decision of the High Court.

The vacation bench of Justice Sudhir Kumar Jain in the Delhi High Court said that the arguments of both the parties have been considered. The trial court's comment that the documents presented before it were not considered is not correct. On the ED's argument that they were not given enough time, the High Court said that this matter needs proper consideration. The dual provisions of Section 45 of PMLA have not been considered by the vacation bench judge (trial court).

The vacation bench did not consider the decision in the Satyendra Kumar Antil case. In today's hearing, the High Court bench said that the trial court should not give any conclusion which is contrary to the conclusion of the High Court. Interim bail was granted only for the specific purpose of election. The High Court said that once his petition challenging the arrest has been rejected by the High Court, it cannot be said that his personal liberty has been curtailed in violation of the law.

The Delhi High Court said that ASG Raju had raised the issue that the lower court had said in its order that it was not possible to read the document. In this regard, the High Court said that such a comment is completely inappropriate and it shows that the trial court did not pay attention to the record. The High Court believes that the trial court did not use its mind in granting bail and did not consider the documents. Regarding today's decision of the High Court, Dave said that he disagrees with the decision of the High Court. He will challenge this order in the Supreme Court on Wednesday. In such a situation, the bail order cannot be stayed. This was also accepted by the Supreme Court yesterday. The trial court gave a verdict of Rs 20 on June 20. Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal was released on bail on a personal bond of Rs 1 lakh.
