Jaipur, 18 April (HS). High Court Bar Association, Jaipur has written a letter to the CJ requesting to create one division bench and four single benches in the Jaipur bench of the High Court during the upcoming summer vacation from June 3 to 30, instead of just one vacation bench.
President of High Court Bar Association, Jaipur, Prahlad Sharma and General Secretary Sushil Pujari have said in the letter that during the summer vacation, the number of urgent cases increases and it is not possible to hear all these cases by one SB. In such a situation, to provide justice to the parties involved in the case during the summer vacation, more SBs including one DB should be formed, so that all the important cases can be heard during this period. In fact, during the summer vacation, a vacation bench is set up in the High Court which hears only the most urgent cases including criminal cases, bail and stay. Due to this, important cases pending in the High Court are not heard.
