Mumbai: The High Court has allowed an 83-year-old father to give his foster daughter a unique gift on Father's Day. Since the father is holy, he will be able to take care of his daughter and carry out all her transactions officially.
Since the father is not sure of his recovery, he cannot make any financial transactions. The court has said in its order that all the authorities should ensure that the daughter is appointed as the guardian of the father.
The court intervened on the petition and ordered a medical examination of the father. Three doctors examined him and said that they were unable to perform any procedure financially or legally.
The Maharashtra Legal Aid Cell should keep an eye on how the daughter takes care of the husband and review it every three months. The assistance cell will have to be reviewed in this manner for the next two years. After that, if necessary, the Legal Aid Cell can request further orders from the court, the order states.
The daughter has said in the petition that the father has cancer and brain hemorrhage which was treated but he is not well. The movable and immovable property is in the name of the father. Redevelopment is a building promoter. The mother is old. The mother has no objection to taking custody herself. Therefore, the daughter requested that she be given all the treatment and guardianship, which was approved and disposed of by the court.
