Here the government gave Diwali gift to the employees, increased dearness allowance

7th Pay Commission: By announcing increase in dearness allowance and dearness relief, the government of this state has given a Diwali gift to its employees.

7th Pay Commission: There is only one week left for Diwali 2024 and the Central Government in the country had already made arrangements for the government employees before Diwali. Apart from this, governments of many states have also given gifts like dearness allowance and dearness relief to their government employees before Diwali. Now in this series, the Arunachal Pradesh government has announced a three percent increase in Dearness Allowance (DA) and Dearness Relief (DR) for its regular employees and pensioners.

Announcement made by Arunachal Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Chauna Main

Arunachal Pradesh Deputy CM Chauna Meen has announced the increase in DA on Wednesday. Apart from this, he is also holding the charge of Finance, Planning and Investment Department. The increased DA and DR will be applicable in the state from July 1 and this decision will impose an estimated burden of Rs 63.92 crore on the Arunachal Pradesh government from July 2024 to March 2025.

HRA of Arunachal Pradesh employees also increased

Along with the increase in DA and DR, House Rent Allowance (HRA) has been reduced to 30 percent, 20 percent and 10 percent for different categories of cities. Let us tell you that there are 68,818 regular government employees in the northeastern state Arunachal Pradesh. With the amendment, DA and DR will increase by 3 percent from 50 percent to 53 percent.

The central government had increased the dearness allowance of government employees last week.

The Central Government had increased the Dearness Allowance (DA) of government employees and Dearness Relief (Dearness Relief) of pensioners. Since then, many states have continuously announced to increase the fixed DA and DR. These announcements were made for about 1 crore central government employees and pensioners (combined) after the cabinet meeting last week.
