Giridih, August 17 (HS). Assam Chief Minister and BJP's Jharkhand election in-charge Himanta Biswa Sarma reached Vishnusharan village of Bengabad in Giridih from Deoghar airport on Saturday. During this, he went to the house of deceased Havildar Chauhan Hembram. He was accompanied by BJP state president Babulal Marandi and district president Mahadev Dubey, former MLA Nirbhay Shahabadi, Dinesh Yadav and other party officials.
Biswa Sarma met the deceased Havildar's mother Roshni Devi and others on the spot and assured them of all possible help. He also said that if the BJP government is formed in the state this time, they will definitely get justice. Talking to journalists, Biswa Sarma called the incident unfortunate and said that no representative of the Hemant government, which boasts of protecting the tribal interests, came to meet the affected family.
Biswa Sarma said that Hemant Soren himself is a tribal and the fact that he does not feel any pain for the murder of Chauhan Hembram shows appeasement. He said that a dreaded criminal was left for treatment in the care of a single constable. Here too the negligence of Jharkhand Police is visible. As per rules, there should have been a sub-inspector and a platoon force for security. Due to this, the constable lost his life.
It is noteworthy that on the midnight of 11th August, Mohammad Shahid Ansari, who was serving life sentence for gang rape, killed tribal police constable Chauhan Hembram and escaped. Police is searching for him vigorously. Also, it is continuously raiding his possible hideouts.
