Hemant Soren challenged the order of PMLA special court in the High Court

Ranchi, 22 February (HS). Ranchi: The Special Court of Prevention of Money Laundering Act (PMLA) has not allowed former Chief Minister and Barhat MLA Hemant Soren to attend the budget session. The court rejected his petition. Hemant Soren has challenged this order of the PMLA special court in the High Court. The matter will be heard on Friday.

The budget session of Jharkhand Assembly is to start from Friday. An application was filed in the PMLA court regarding Hemant Soren's participation in the budget session. It was requested to the court that Hemant Soren be allowed to be present in the Assembly in the budget session starting on 23 February. Special public prosecutor Shiv Kumar alias Kaka ji argued on behalf of ED.
