Mata Vaishno There is great news for the devotees of the goddess. Devotees will be given special facility of helicopter service from Jammu to Mata Vaishnodevi. To provide quick facility to the devotees wishing to have special darshan, the Shrine Board will start Sanjhi Chhat helicopter service from Jammu from 18 June 2024. Two packages have been introduced for this by Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Shrine Board.
Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Shrine Board Chief Executive Officer, Anshul Garg said that SMVDSB is starting Sanjhi Chhat helicopter service from Jammu for those pilgrims who wish to visit the shrine in one day.
2 packages for helicopter facility from Shrine Board
According to news agency ANI, the Shrine Board will offer two types of packages for the darshan of Mata Vaishno Devi – first Same Day Return and second Next Day Return. Devotees of Mata will have to spend Rs 35,000 per person for the 'Same Day Return' (SDR) package. At the same time, for the second package 'Next Day Return' (NDR), devotees will have to spend Rs 50,000 per person.
What's in the Same Day Return and Next Day Return Packages?
Sharing information in this regard, officials said that in the SDR i.e. Same Day Return Package, pilgrims will be provided battery car service up to Bhawan on reaching Panchi helipad, special darshan slip, prasad, priority ticket for cable car to pray at Bhairon temple, return car service on reaching Panchi helipad and helicopter ride up to Jammu airport.
Shrine Board officials further said that the NDR i.e. Next Day Return package includes all the SDR facilities apart from rooms in the building and 'Atka Aarti'. It is worth noting that the helicopter service is currently available only between Katra and Sanjhi Chhat, the one-way fare of which is Rs 2100 per person.
