Jaipur, 4 August (HS). A very low pressure area is formed over Madhya Pradesh which is moving towards eastern Rajasthan. Due to its effect, there will be heavy rains in many parts of the state for the next one week. Its maximum effect will be seen in south-east and west Rajasthan. Heavy rains can be seen in Kota, Udaipur and Ajmer divisions due to its effect.
Director of Meteorological Center Radheshyam Sharma said that a very low deep pressure area is formed over Madhya Pradesh. On August 5, this system will have the maximum effect in the state and monsoon activities will increase in most parts. There is a possibility of heavy rain and sometimes very heavy rain in some parts of Kota, Udaipur, Ajmer division. On August 5-6, there is a possibility of moderate to heavy rain and sometimes heavy and sometimes very heavy rain in some parts of Udaipur, Ajmer, Jodhpur and Bikaner division. On Saturday, light to moderate rain with thunder was recorded at many places in the state and heavy rain was recorded at some places in Jaisalmer, Barmer, Jalore, Sirohi, Dungarpur and Ajmer districts. In eastern Rajasthan, the highest rainfall was recorded in Arai, Ajmer at 102 mm and in Gudamalani, Barmer of western Rajasthan at 89 mm.
Heavy rain in Jhalawar and Shahpura Heavy rain was recorded at some places in Jhalawar and Shahpura on Sunday. According to the water resources department, the highest rainfall of 106 mm was recorded in Raipur in Jhalawar. Apart from this, 94 mm rain was recorded in Bakani, 63 mm in Gangdhar, 57 mm in Pirwa, 54 mm in Jhalrapatan, 98 mm in Jahazpur and 88 mm in Kachhola of Shahpura, 57 mm in Deoli of Tonk, 59 mm in Pratapgarh and 57 mm in Hindauli of Bundi.
Sunshine shone from among the clouds in Jaipur, mercury rose. Light to moderate clouds remained in Jaipur throughout the day and sunshine was seen playing peek-a-boo from among the clouds. Due to this, a rise in the mercury of Jaipur has been recorded. The night mercury of Jaipur has increased by more than one degree. The maximum temperature of Jaipur was recorded at 33 degrees and the minimum temperature was 27 degrees. Director of the Meteorological Centre Radheshyam Sharma said that the rain will continue in Jaipur in the coming days as well. There will be an increase in the rain activities in the coming days.
