Heavy rains predicted in 16 states, flood situation worsens in Assam

IMD Prediction For Rain: From Uttarakhand, Haryana and Rajasthan to eastern Bihar and northeastern states including Bengal and Assam, it is raining heavily. According to the Meteorological Department, heavy rains have also occurred in Uttarakhand, Haryana, Gujarat, Tamil Nadu, West Bengal, Sikkim, Tripura, Meghalaya in the last 24 hours. Rains occurred in many areas including Uttar Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Konkan and Goa, Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh, Bihar, Kerala and Karnataka. At the same time, the highest rainfall in Rajasthan during the 24 hours before 8.30 am on Monday was 76 mm in Ghatol of Banswara and 71 mm in Raniwada of Jalore.

Flood in Kaziranga National Park

The water level of the Brahmaputra river in Assam is rising rapidly. 61 camps built to keep animals in Kaziranga National Park and Tiger Reserve have been submerged. 7 died due to electric shock

7 people have died due to lightning in six districts of Bihar. 2 people have died in Aurangabad district and 1 person each has died in Buxar, Bhojpur, Rohtas, Bhagalpur and Darbhanga districts.

4 died in Telangana

A mother and three children were killed in a landslide at Vanapatla village in Nagarkurnool, Telangana.

The torrential rain in Delhi was not caused by cloudburst

Meteorological Department Director Mrityunjay Mohapatra said that there was no cloudburst due to the torrential rain in Delhi on June 28. Safdarjung received 91 mm of rain in an hour from 5 to 6 am on that day.
