After this, panic spread among the local people. Let us tell you that even today rain continues in many states of the country. Meanwhile, a cloudburst occurred in Bandipora, Jammu and Kashmir. Due to which rivers and canals were filled with water. However, there is no report of any loss of life or property due to this flood.
According to the information, in the last few hours, apart from Bandipora, incidents of cloudburst have also occurred in Kulgam and Shopian of Kashmir. The first incident took place in Damhal of Kulgam where one person died due to cloudburst. While many people have been injured. The second incident of cloudburst took place in Dardpora of Bandipora. Where roads and foot bridges have been damaged due to floods after heavy rains. However, there is no news of any casualties. The third incident took place in Sedo of Shopian. Where water entered many houses after the cloudburst.
Meanwhile, the Srinagar Meteorological Center has issued an alert of heavy rain in the state today i.e. on August 15. According to the Meteorological Department, light to moderate rain is likely at some places in Jammu and Kashmir today. The Meteorological Department forecast said, “Light to moderate rain may occur at most places in Jammu and Kashmir on August 15.” While light to moderate rain may occur at many places in the valley during August 16-20. Moderate rain and thundershowers likely in the night / morning.
