Ludhiana: Terrible heat has started in Punjab. On Tuesday, hot winds blew in many districts and the maximum temperature reached above 42 degrees Celsius. Faridkot and Pathankot were the hottest. The maximum temperatures here were recorded at 42.1 and 42 degrees Celsius respectively.
According to the Meteorological Department, there is a possibility of heavy rain in many parts of the state from May 16 to 18. Meanwhile, in many districts the maximum temperature can reach 44 to 46 degrees Celsius. The Meteorological Department has also issued an orange alert regarding strong winds.
