Washington: America has officially announced that it is committed to defeating the terrorist organization ISIS. America will not allow it to build bases in Syria again. US Defense Department Deputy Spokesperson Sabrina Singh said in a press briefing on Monday evening that we will not allow Syria to become a safe haven for ISIS again. Actually IS (Islamic State) and ISIS (Islamic State of Iraq and Syria) are two sides of the same coin. They and other terrorist organizations like them are still living in the Middle Ages. Islamic State still dreams of caliphate. Now the world cannot accept this.

The US Central Command has heavily bombed ISIS’s Badiya desert camps and other targets in Syria with B-52 and F-16 aircraft. Sabrita Singh also said this in the press conference.

Yesterday (Tuesday), US Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin spoke on phone with Turkish Defense Minister Yasar Gulel and reviewed the situation in the Middle East. Summarizing the discussion, Pentagon Press Secretary Air Force Major General Per Reeder said that all leaders opposing these terrorists should make efforts to protect civilians. At the same time, the safety of other religious minorities living there (in Syria) must be ensured and rebel leaders must be forced to comply with international humanitarian principles.

Meanwhile, the leader of Syria’s interim government, Mohammed al-Bashir, said that he will remain the country’s interim prime minister until March 1 with the support of the rebels. Meanwhile, Israel has captured the strategically important Govan Heights between the two countries. But has announced that he does not want to advance towards Damascus.
