Heat wave alert in 16 districts of Madhya Pradesh today, possibility of thunderstorm and drizzle in some districts

Bhopal, 01 June (HS). These days, Madhya Pradesh is facing a period of intense heat. The state is facing severe heat and heat wave since the beginning of Nautapa. On the seventh day of Nautapa, i.e. Friday, there was an effect of intense heat and heat wave. The highest temperature of 47.1 degrees was recorded in Bijawar of Chhatarpur. At the same time, the temperature in Shivpuri was 47 degrees and in Prithvipur of Niwari it was 46.7 degrees. While in 11 cities the mercury was more than 45 degrees. Today, on Saturday, a heat wave warning has been issued in 16 districts including Gwalior-Datia. While there is a possibility of thunderstorm and drizzle in some districts.

Earlier on Friday, Khajuraho, Datia, Singrauli, Naugaon, Sidhi, Gwalior and Satna were the hottest places. 46.5 degrees was recorded in Khajuraho, 46.4 degrees in Datia, 46.3 degrees in Singrauli, 46 degrees in Naugaon, 45.8 degrees in Sidhi, 45.7 degrees in Gwalior and 45.2 degrees in Satna. Heat wave also swept these districts. Only Pachmarhi was the coldest in the state. The mercury was recorded at 36.6 degrees here. In other cities, the temperature was recorded above 40 degrees. Whereas, the temperature was recorded at 42.4 degrees in capital Bhopal, 40.6 degrees in Indore, 43.7 degrees in Jabalpur and 40.8 degrees in Ujjain.

According to the information received from the Meteorological Department, monsoon has knocked in Kerala on 30 May. Monsoon may enter Madhya Pradesh between 15 and 20 June. Cyclonic circulation system is active in the state right now, while trough line is passing through. Due to this, heat was felt in many districts on Friday. On Saturday, there will be effect of thunderstorm and storm in many districts. Hot winds will also blow in some areas of the state.
