Heat showed severe intensity in Madhya Pradesh, temperature reached 44.8 degrees in Damoh

Bhopal, 7 May (HS). It is extremely hot these days in Madhya Pradesh. Even on Tuesday the sun showed its harsh attitude. For the first time in the season, there was so much heat in Madhya Pradesh. The maximum temperature recorded in Damoh was 44.8 degrees, which was the hottest in the state. At the same time, it was the hottest day of the season in Bhopal. The maximum temperature here reached 42.4 degrees Celsius. Apart from this, the mercury remained above 43 degrees in Naugaon, Guna, Khandwa, Tikamgarh and Shivpuri. However, in some areas the sky remained cloudy and there was drizzle at some places. Three cattle died due to lightning in Deori village of Chhindwara.

Actually, on Tuesday, voting for Lok Sabha elections took place in nine Lok Sabha seats of Madhya Pradesh, Bhopal, Guna, Vidisha, Gwalior, Betul, Bhind, Morena, Rajgarh and Sagar. It was expected to be extremely hot here and the weather remained the same. The sun shone brightly during the third phase of voting in the state. Due to this, the gusts of hot winds increased the restlessness in the entire state. The highest temperature of 44.8 degrees Celsius was recorded in Damoh in the state. Which is the highest daytime temperature of this season. With this, Damoh remained at fifth position on Tuesday among the hottest cities in the plains of the country. The maximum temperature in 18 cities of the state remained between 42 to 44.8 degrees Celsius.

The mercury was recorded at 43 degrees in Shivpuri-Tikamgarh, 43.1 degrees in Khandwa, 43.2 degrees in Guna and 43.4 degrees in Naugaon. Big cities of the state also got very hot. For the first time in the season, mercury was recorded at 42.4 degrees in Bhopal. The temperature was recorded at 40.5 degrees in Indore, 42.6 degrees in Gwalior, 42.1 degrees in Jabalpur and 42.5 degrees Celsius in Ujjain. Apart from this, mercury was recorded at 42 degrees or more in Dhar, Mandla, Khargone, Khajuraho, Umaria, Ratlam, Sidhi, Shajapur and Sagar. The mercury was recorded between 40 to 41.8 degrees Celsius in Narmadapuram, Narsinghpur, Betul, Satna and Raisen. Pachmarhi was the coldest. The temperature here was recorded at 35.8 degrees. It was 36.6 degrees in Malajkhand, 38.2 degrees in Seoni, 39.2 degrees in Rewa and 39.4 degrees in Chhindwara. According to meteorologists, the maximum temperature has increased in the entire state due to the southern direction of the winds.

Meteorologist Prakash Dhawale said that currently a western disturbance is active over Iran. At the same time, there are also two cyclonic circulations and trough lines. Due to all this, clouds are also appearing. Thunderstorm conditions will persist on May 8-9 also. Heat wave will also continue.
