Heartfelt gratitude to the Prime Minister for giving modern look to 7 railway stations out of 75 redeveloped railway stations, Keshav Prasad Maurya

Thanking the Prime Minister, Keshav Prasad Maurya said that the modern look of Aishbagh, Vindhyachal, Fatehpur, Panki Dham, Modinagar, Shamli and Dhampur railway stations of Uttar Pradesh will give a new impetus to the development of the state. The state-of-the-art facilities developed at these stations will make the journey of passengers more safe, comfortable and convenient. Besides, better facilities will also be available for disabled people, senior citizens and women.

Shri Maurya said that through Amrit Bharat Station Scheme, railway stations are being developed in accordance with local culture, heritage and regional identity, which will boost local tourism and create new opportunities for business, industry and employment. He said that Uttar Pradesh is an important state of the country from religious, cultural and industrial point of view and these redeveloped stations will provide new strength to the connectivity and economic activities in the state.

Welcoming the launch of the Amritsar-Varanasi Express train, the Deputy Chief Minister said that this new rail service will further strengthen connectivity between different regions of the country. This will provide more convenient travel to the passengers and will also give new energy to religious tourism, business activities and socio-cultural relations.

He said that under the leadership of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, modern infrastructure is expanding rapidly in all sectors including road, rail, air and water transport in the country. A strong and modern transport system has an important role in realizing the vision of a developed India and Indian Railways is becoming the main basis of this transformation.

Shri Keshav Prasad Maurya said that due to the efforts of the double engine government, Uttar Pradesh is today among the fastest developing states of the country. The unprecedented development work taking place in all sectors including railways will take the state’s economy to new heights.
