Heart operation of 1 year old son of a labourer family of Jodiya village was successful | News India

Jamnagar: Gautambhai Boricha, a freelancer in Jodia village and currently living in Jamnagar city, was blessed with a son on 11-10-2023. The baby Mayank looked healthy at birth and weighed 2.5 kg. The baby's health started deteriorating in the past few days. Since the Boricha family is currently living in Jamnagar, they went to Guru Gobind Singh Government Hospital for examination. Where the initial examination done by the doctor revealed that this innocent child has a heart disease. Therefore, the parents were persuaded to go to Ahmedabad Hospital for immediate operation. The beneficiary is from Jodia taluka and is known to the local health team members there and they have informed the Jodia taluka health team.

During the school health check-up program, the RBSK team is working under the guidance of District Development Officer Netra Bhardwaj, Chief District Health Officer Dr. Bhaya, Taluka Health Officer Dr. Sanjay Somaiya – Dr. Sejal Karak and Dr. Devji Nakum of Rashtriya Bal Swasthya Karyakram. The reference card of the beneficiary was filled by visiting his house.

Then he was referred to UN Mehta Hospital in Ahmedabad by ambulance on 20-04-2024. Regular contact was also maintained with him. During the initial examination in Ahmedabad, after ECG, 2D-ECHO, blood report, the child's operation lasted for 3 days. From April 27 to April 29, the child's heart hole was surgically repaired and the defect was successfully corrected with necessary treatment. So today this child is playing happily. For this, his family has thanked the district administration wholeheartedly.
