Ranchi, May 21 (HS). Hearing was held on Tuesday on the discharge petition filed in the court by Talha Khan, accused in the case related to the scam of 4.55 acres of army-owned land located in Bariatu, Ranchi. The court of ED special judge Rajeev Ranjan has fixed June 4 as the next hearing date in the case. Charges have to be framed against Talha Khan. In this regard, a discharge petition has been filed on his behalf to free him from the charges against him.
It is noteworthy that the discharge petition of other accused in the case Dilip Ghosh, Bhanu Pratap Prasad, Afsar Ali and Amit Aggarwal has already been rejected by the PMLA court. Talha Khan was arrested by the ED on 13 April 2023.
