Ranchi, August 24 (HS). The bail plea of land dealer Priyaranjan Sahay, who is in jail in the 8.86 acre land fraud case of Bargai zone related to Chief Minister Hemant Soren, will be heard on September 2. The petition filed by him was listed for hearing in the court of PMLA Special Judge Rajiv Ranjan on Saturday but the hearing could not take place. The accused has filed a petition on August 9, pleading for bail 113 days after his arrest.
The ED arrested the accused after conducting raids on April 16 in connection with the land scam. He has been in jail since then.
