Makhana Kheer Recipe

Ingredients- 200 grams butter, 2 liters milk, 50 grams desi ghee, 100 grams raisins, 250 grams sugar, 10 almonds, 10 cashews, 5 pinch saffron, 4 green cardamoms.

Method

– Cut almonds and cashews into small pieces and fry them in ghee.

– Heat ghee in a pan and add butter in it and fry till it turns golden. Keep in mind that dry fruits and butter should be roasted separately.

– After roasting, grind more than half of the dry fruits thoroughly in the mixer and save some for garnishing.

– Pour milk in a pan and let it heat well.

As soon as it boils, add dry fruit powder, sugar, saffron and cardamom powder. Also add butter and remaining dry fruits.

– Cook for at least 15 more minutes. – When the butter softens and the mixture becomes creamy, turn off the gas.

– Butter pudding is ready to serve.
