District AYUSH Department, Dhamtari, organized the 9th Ayurveda Day on the theme of Ayurveda Innovation for Global Health on Wednesday at Radhakrishna Bhawan, Mahalakshmi Greens, Dhamtari. Medicine exhibition, models for Ayurveda innovation, posters and Ayurveda medical camp were organized at the camp site.

Addressing the program, Dr. Dinesh Nag, Director of Shri Gayatri Ayush Polyclinic, Dhamtari, said that Ayurveda is being established at the global level, through which we can get good results on minor diseases as well as major diseases based on lifestyle. . Through the special treatment Panchakarma, good treatment is being provided to chronic and complex serious diseases. Ayurveda's famous medical method Ksharsutra is very effective in serious diseases of anus, piles, fissure and fistula. Now the Ministry of AYUSH, Government of India is going to add the above mentioned Ayurveda medical services in the Ayushman Card also for the convenience of the people very soon.

The program was started by councilors Sushila Tiwari and Kavinudra Jain along with District AYUSH Officer Dr. Surendra Chandrakar by worshiping Lord Dhanvantari. A seminar was organized on this occasion. Dr. Prema Singh gave a speech on the topic of innovation in diet in Ayurveda. Lecture was given by class 9th student Garima Pachori on the topic of Ayurveda for school wellness and by Dr. Avadh Pachori on the topic of Ayurveda for workplace wellness. In the program, the address given by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on the ninth Ayurveda Day on the topic of Innovation for Global Health was telecast live. In the exhibition, Dr. Akhilesh Sahu presented the model for Supraja, Dr. Varsha Dev on the use of millets in diet, Dr. Richa Tyagi on enhancing the quality of medicine and diet by using different types of utensils, Dr. Sandeep Patwa on Ayurveda innovation for global health. Gave a presentation. The program was concluded with a vote of thanks by Dr. Praveen Chandrakar. Nodal officer of the program and Ayurveda Medical Officer, Government Ayush Polyclinic Dhamtari, Dr. Avadh Pachauri conducted the program. It is known that the Ministry of AYUSH, Government of India has declared Lord Dhanvantari Jayanti as National Ayurveda Day, which is celebrated every year on the day of Dhanteras. This is the ninth year in which it is being celebrated across the country. This year's theme is Ayurveda Innovations for Global Health.
