Ranchi, September 19 (HS). State Health Minister Banna Gupta inaugurated the Jharkhand Pavilion on Thursday at Pragati Maidan in the country's capital New Delhi. The Jharkhandi cuisine and products available in this pavilion attracted a lot of people. Delicious mushroom dishes, natural products, millets are available in the Jharkhand Pavilion in the third edition of World Food India 2024.

The mega food event 'World Food India 2024' is being organized at Pragati Maidan in Delhi from 19 to 22 September. After inaugurating the Jharkhand Pavilion in Hangar No. 1 of Pragati Maidan, Health Minister Banna Gupta said that the main objective of the Jharkhand Pavilion of this mega food event is to encourage people and investors from all over the world to invest in our state.

He said that we want that the products of the food processing units set up in Jharkhand should be branded. Its products should reach the people of the world. Banna Gupta also released the Jharkhand Food and Feed Processing Industry Policy on this occasion. Jharkhand has set up 13 stalls in the mega food event. There is an exhibition of products and stalls of food items are also set up.

Industry Secretary Jitendra Singh said that this year 13 stalls have been set up by the Industry Department of Jharkhand Government. Out of these, three stalls belong to departments or undertakings of Jharkhand Government. The rest are stalls of private institutions. The Industry Secretary said that Jharkhand is full of natural treasures. A large number of food processing related products are being produced. These are being sold not only in different parts of the country but also abroad.

Crowds are gathering in Jharkhand Pavilion

Crowds are flocking to the Jharkhand Pavilion. People are seeking information about various products. People are showing interest in various products made from mushrooms. Mushroom papad, pickles, chutney, jam are being liked by the people. Sweets and namkeens made from ragi (a type of millet) are also being liked by the people. People visiting the Jharkhand Pavilion are also liking drinks made from makhana and food pulp. Startup companies of Jharkhand have also come up with some of the best products. Industry Director Sushant Gaurav, Joint Director of Industry Department Pranav Kumar Paul and others were present on this occasion.
