Amroha, 31 August (HS). A head constable posted in Amroha district was accused of demanding bribe. The allegation of corruption was found to be true in the investigation. On the basis of the report, the SP has taken action by registering a case against the head constable accused of corruption and arresting him.

According to the information, Head Constable Ravi Kumar Baliyan working in the police department was posted in Rehra police station of Amroha. Action has been taken against Head Constable Ravi in ​​Rehra police station itself on charges of corruption and he has been arrested and sent to jail. The Head Constable was accused of taking a bribe of 50 thousand rupees in lieu of not increasing the sections in a case of assault on Deshpal Singh. On getting information about the case, the Circle Officer got the case investigated. The case was found to be true in the investigation.

Superintendent of Police Kunwar Anupam Singh has taken strict action against the head constable found guilty of corruption. On the SP's order, a case was registered against the head constable under the Prevention of Corruption Act on the complaint of the victim Deshpal in the police station where he was posted and he was arrested. The SP said that by taking action against the corruption of departmental employees, it has been made clear that whether it is the perpetrators of crime or those trying to save them, no one will be spared.
