Ranchi, July 20 (HS). Police on Saturday solved the case of shooting and killing of HDFC bank employee in Harmu, capital Ranchi. The three accused of murder, Mohd Danis (29), resident of Khet Mohalla near Chhota Talab, Hindpidhi, Mohd Arman alias Babu (19), resident of Nizam Nagar and Mohd Sahil (19), resident of Khet Mohalla of Argora police station area have been arrested. The pistol used in the incident, one cartridge and one knife, two looted mobile phones, purse and Rs 700 cash have been recovered from them.
SSP Chandan Kumar Sinha gave this information in a press conference on Saturday. He said that the case was revealed after the arrest of the three accused. The deceased Abhishek Kumar and his friend Kumar Prince were returning after buying ganja from the grocery store on Harmu river, during which the three accused started looting them, when Abhishek resisted the looting, the three ran after him and shot him. Due to this, he died on the spot.
It is noteworthy that on Friday night, Abhishek Kumar and Prince Kumar, residents of Argora Housing Colony, went on foot to buy ganja on the banks of the Harmu river. While returning after buying ganja, the aforesaid criminals started looting them. Kumar Prince gave them his mobile and purse, but Abhishek's mobile was expensive, so he did not give the mobile and started running. While running away, the criminals chased him and shot him. He died on the spot due to the bullet injury.
