Gandhi Sagar is a small town in Mandsaur district of Madhya Pradesh, situated on the banks of Chambal River. The city is famous for the Gandhi Sagar Dam, one of the largest dams in India. This dam was built in the year 1960 on the Chambal River and is used for irrigation, power generation and flood control. The city is also known for its natural beauty and peaceful environment.
