Have you ever eaten moong dal water pakodas? Now this question must have come in your mind that moong dal pakodas are fine but what are these moong dal water pakodas? These are very tasty and even Golgappa fails in front of them. So let's know about their recipe
Ingredients for Moong Dal Pakoda:
1 cup moong dal
Ginger, green chilli, salt, turmeric powder, cumin (1 tsp each)
Gram flour – 1 tablespoon
Baking soda – 2 pinches
Ingredients for Tart Water:
Ginger, green chilli, green coriander, lemon juice, mint, tamarind and jaggery water
Asafoetida, black salt, cumin powder, black pepper, salt, red chili powder
Water – 2.5 liters
boondi, sweet chutney, onion
Method to make Moong Dal Pakodas:
Soak moong dal overnight. In the morning, grind soaked moong dal with ginger, green chilli, salt, turmeric powder and cumin and make a smooth paste. Add 1 or 2 teaspoons of water to make a smooth paste.
Take out the paste in a vessel and add cumin, gram flour, half teaspoon baking soda and asafoetida and mix well.
Heat oil in a pan and put small round pakodas in it and fry them till they turn golden. Take out the pakodas and keep them in a plate.
Now, let's prepare the spicy water:
In a blender, add ginger, green chillies, coriander, lemon juice, mint leaves, tamarind and jaggery water, asafoetida, black salt, cumin powder, black pepper, salt, red chilli powder and sweet chutney.
Pour the prepared mixture into a large bowl and add 2 liters of water. Mix well.
Mix boondi and green coriander in water.
In the last step, dip the pakodas in the prepared masala water. Your Moong Dal Pani Pakodas are ready to eat!
