New Delhi, September 23 (HS). Haryanvi Hunters have won the title of the inaugural edition of the Entertainers Cricket League (ECL) T10. In a spectacular match played at the Indira Gandhi Indoor Stadium on Sunday night, Haryanvi Hunters defeated Lucknow Lions by 8 wickets to win the title. Haryanvi Hunters' Rohit Lamba was named Man of the Series for his unique all-round performance.

Lucknow Lions captain Anurag Dwivedi won the toss and decided to bat first, but his team suffered early setbacks. Anurag himself was out after scoring just 8 runs off 6 balls. Haryanvi Hunters' fast bowler Rohit Lamba took 3 wickets in his second over, taking the Lions' team score to 28 runs for 4 wickets. Orange cap holder Akash Yadav, who has been consistently performing well in the tournament, was also out after scoring just 6 runs.

Although Lucknow Lions got some stability from a quick 65-run partnership between Amandeep Singh (46 off 17 balls) and Ashish Kumar Meena (35 off 17 balls), the lower-order batsmen crumbled early. Thanks to Rohit Lamba's 3 wickets (giving away 26 runs) and Anuj Chaudhary's brilliant 2 wickets (giving away 8 runs), Haryanvi Hunters restricted Lucknow Lions to 131/9 in 10 overs.

In response, Haryanvi Hunters captain Elvish Yadav showed his star power and played a brilliant innings. He hit 30 runs in just 8 balls, including 5 magnificent sixes, which gave his team a great start to the run chase. Although Keshav Chaudhary was dismissed after scoring 6 runs, the Hunters still scored 63/2 in 4 overs.

An unbeaten 83-run partnership between Lalit Yadav (30*) and Anuj Chaudhary (63*) took Haryanvi Hunters to 135/2 in 7.1 overs, achieving the target easily and winning the championship.

Rohit Lamba and Anuj Chaudhary were jointly declared Man of the Match as both performed brilliantly with bat and ball. Akash Yadav of Lucknow Lions won the Orange Cap by scoring 330 runs, while Kashish Pundir of Haryanvi Hunters was awarded the Purple Cap for taking 14 wickets.
