Noida, 11 November (Hindustan Reporter). Manpreet Singh has once again won in the battle of veteran coaches. Manpreet's Haryana Steelers defeated Ram Mehar Singh's Gujarat Giants by a margin of 39-23 in the 46th match of the 11th season of Pro Kabaddi League (PKL) played at Noida Indoor Stadium on Sunday night. This is Haryana's second consecutive win over Gujarat this season.
Apart from defender Rahul Setpal (8 points), all-rounder Mohammadreza Shadlu (7) and raider Vinay (7 points) played important roles in Haryana's victory. Ghanshyam Magar (3) made Haryana's comeback with Super Raid. Only Rakesh (7 points) and defender Jitender Yadav (6 points) could shine for Gujarat.
In this exciting match, both the teams were tied at 2-2 for the first 4 minutes but Shivam Patare scored two points on do or die to put Haryana ahead by 4-2 and then Rahul took pride and reduced the gap to 3. . Vinay then brought Gujarat into a super tackle situation with a hunt.
Neeraj went out on Vinay's next raid but on Partik's raid, Shadloo self-out and gave one point to Gujarat. After this, Gujarat's defense made a brilliant comeback by hunting Vinay. Now the score was 6-7 and by the end of the 16th minute it became 10-10.

Shadaloo had also returned. Meanwhile, Gujarat's defense put Haryana in a super tackle situation by hunting down Shivam.
Gujarat took full advantage of this situation by super tackling Partik and increased their lead to 8. At the end of 30 minutes the score was 26-18 in favor of Haryana. After the break, Haryana once again took the lead 28-19 by making a super tackle on Partik. Partik, who was revived, went on a do or die raid and could not return.
