During the inaugural address at the state-level program organized in Jind on the occasion of Teej, Saini said that this initiative will benefit about 46 lakh families with annual income less than Rs 1.80 lakh. Apart from this, the CM said that under the Chief Minister Dudh Uphaar Yojana, fortified milk will now be made available to girls of 14-18 years in schools for 150 days.
Apart from this, he also announced to increase the loan amount for self-employment from Rs 3 lakh to Rs 5 lakh under Haryana Mat Shakti Udaymata Yojana. Saini said that apart from this, the amount given to self-help groups (SHGs) for daily needs will be increased from Rs 20,000 to Rs 30,000. Apart from this, he also announced to increase the monthly honorarium of group Sakhi from Rs 150 to Rs 500.
