The campaigning of 190 candidates contesting the Haryana Assembly elections is going on. If we look at the previous elections, at least 1031 candidates are contesting in the last three elections. There was competition between 1351 candidates in 2014 and 1169 candidates in 2019 in 90 constituencies. After the fierce battle of the last two days, Congress returned the nomination papers of 36 of its rebels and BJP returned the nomination papers of 33 rebels.

Other districts include 15 from Kaithal, Kurukshetra and Gurugram, 13 from Bhiwani and Jind, 12 from Sirsa, 10 from Karnal, 9 from Jhajjar, 7 from Faridabad and Sonipat, 6 each from Fatehabad and Panipat, Yamunanagar and Panchkula. 5 each from Rohtak and Ambala, 4 each from Rohtak and Ambala, 3 each from Dadri and Rewari and two independent candidates from Nuh withdrew their nominations. After the cancellation of nominations of 338 candidates on Friday, 1221 candidates are left. Now after the withdrawal of nominations, 1031 wrestlers are participating in the final list.
