Harsimrat Kaur Badal accused Bhagwant Mann of going back on his promise and said – Mann cheated the farmers

Chandigarh: Former Union Minister Harsimrat Kaur Badal accused Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann of going back on his promise and said that he did not register a case against Haryana Police officials in the murder of farmer Shubhakaran Singh.

Harsimrat met Shubhakaran Singh's family in village Ballo today. He alleged that the Chief Minister had betrayed the entire farming community by not registering a case against the Haryana Police officials responsible for Shubhakaran's murder.

He said what are Mann waiting for? What are they doing with our abducted youth and what have they done against them in terms of attacking farmers with tear gas shells, pellet guns and rubber bullets? He said that the Chief Minister did not meet the Prime Minister even once to fulfill the promises made to the farmers after the end of the farmers' movement. He demanded passage of a bill to provide MSP on 23 crops as repeatedly promised by Mann in the Punjab Assembly session.
