Washington: Less than two months have passed since the US presidential election. As the competition is getting fiercer, Vice President Kamala Harris is currently about 6 points ahead of her rival Donald Trump in the race. According to a pre-election survey by Reuters Ipsos, 47 percent of voters are leaning towards Kamala, while 40 percent are in favor of former President Donald Trump.
According to the pre-poll survey, Kamala Harris has 46.61 percent voters, while Trump has 40.48 percent voters.
These organizations published these figures on Monday after interviewing thousands of voters for three consecutive days.
Even when the pre-poll survey was conducted on 11-12 September, Kamala Harris was five points ahead of Trump. Whereas in this survey conducted during the three days of 21-22-23, Kamala is leading by six points.
When voters were asked which candidate had a better stance on the economy, unemployment and employment, 43 percent chose Trump. 41 percent voted in favor of Kamala. But now the situation has reversed. Now, voters believe that Kamala Harris's policies seem better in this regard. Also, Kamala has left Trump far behind in foreign policy. Voters do not seem to agree with Trump's 'America First' slogan on both immigration and Ukraine or the need to build a wall to keep out immigrants, especially Mexicans. Also, a large number of Americans do not agree that the US should not give any kind of aid to Ukraine, so Kamala has easily taken the lead in the last pre-election survey.
