IPL 2024: Mumbai Indians defeated Royal Challengers Bangalore by 7 wickets to register their second win in IPL 2024. RCB team lost despite scoring 196 runs. Whereas Mumbai scored 199 runs in the first 27 balls. In batting, Ishan Kishan and Suryakumar Yadav scored half-centuries while in bowling, Jasprit Bumrah performed brilliantly. Bumrah proved his skill by taking 5 wickets. Team mentor Sachin Tendulkar is happy with Mumbai's second consecutive win and the excellent performance of his players. Sachin Tendulkar wrote on Twitter, 'Second consecutive win despite not having a good start in the tournament. Jasprit Bumrah bowled sensationally. He once again proved that he is the best at it. Rohit and Ishan Kishan batted fearlessly in the powerplay. It was good to see the way Surya bowled after recovering from injury. The way Hardik Pandya changed gears and finished the match brilliantly, his excellent innings added to the glory.

After 5 wickets of star fast bowler Jasprit Bumrah, Mumbai Indians defeated RCB by 7 wickets on the basis of innings of Suryakumar Yadav and Ishan Kishan. Ishaan scored 69 runs in just 34 balls with the help of seven fours and five sixes. Suryakumar played an inning of 52 runs in 19 balls which included four sixes and five fours. Mumbai Indians achieved the target of 197 runs given by RCB in 15.3 overs.

Ishaan decided the direction of the match by scoring 23 runs including three sixes and one four in the second over of Mohammad Siraj. RCB handed the ball to Glenn Maxwell in the sixth over, his over hit two fours and a six and Isha scored her first half-century of the season in 23 balls. He made a first wicket partnership with Rohit Sharma and scored 101 runs in 53 balls. Rohit scored 38 runs in 24 balls which included 3 fours and 3 sixes. She played a supporting role alongside Ishaan and Suryakumar.
