Crime in Delhi: There was mourning in the house in Shahdara, Delhi due to the death of two members of the same family on Diwali night. The family was celebrating Diwali outside their home on Thursday (October 31) when two gunmen walked in and shot dead the 40-year-old man and his 16-year-old nephew. A 10 year old child was injured.

According to reports, Akash Sharma alias Chhotu and his nephew Rishabh Sharma died in the incident, while Krish Sharma was injured by bullet. The victims were celebrating Diwali outside their house in Farsh Bazar area of ​​Shahdara. He was attacked at around 8 pm. Eyewitnesses to the murder told the police that the accused had touched Akash Sharma's feet before shooting him. All victims were taken to hospital but two died.

By the time Rishabh, who was burning the crackers, could understand something, the scooter riders started running away. When Rishabh runs after them, they shoot him too and run away.

According to a police officer, Akash Sharma and Rishabh Sharma have been declared dead by doctors at the hospital, while Krish Sharma is undergoing treatment. Police say that prima facie it seems to be a case of mutual enmity. The police have detained a minor in this case. At present, the statements of the victim's family members will be recorded and further investigation is going on.
