Dumka, 20 July (HS). On Saturday, Hansdiha police arrested 42 named accused from both the sides and sent them to jail in connection with the fight and firing incident between two parties over land dispute. The incident took place on Friday near Patrabandh Nonihat High School on Dumka-Bhagalpur State Highway in Hansdiha police station area of the district. Regarding the incident, Hansdiha police station brought some accused to the spot and started investigation.
During the investigation, a country-made pistol, a cartridge and some money were recovered. The arrested accused are Laltu Kumar, Dhruvchand Kumar, Prince Kumar of Sahara village of Taljhari police station area and Gautam Kumar, Munchun Kumar, Mithu Turi, Arun Turi, Aman Kumar Turi and Ganesh Turi of Shrirampur village. Pintu Kumar, resident of Thadhi Kharwa village of Saraiyahat police station area, Sudhir Rai, resident of Novadih village, Yashwal Kumar, Santosh Kumar, resident of Bhangabandh, Bhavesh Kumar, Suchit Doli, resident of Kalipur village, Mithun Kumar alias Mithun Kunwar, Dilip Kunwar, resident of Chhatna village, Uttam Kumar Manjhi, resident of Rajan village of Jarmundi police station area, Akash Kumar and Shivam Kumar living near Basukinath, Kali temple, Pyarelal Sao living near Durga temple, Mohan Kumar Yadav alias Mohan Kumar, Ashish Kumar, Gopal Kumar Manjhi, Mukesh Kumar, Pintu Mahamrik and Chandan Kumar of Kalhod village.
