And the woman's nephew had filed a case against Ranpreet Singh under unnatural relations. Gurpreet Singh was absconding in this case, about which the police got information that Amrik Singh alias Kala Singh has given shelter to Gurpreet Singh in Chaswal village. On August 31, SI Janpal Singh and the police team reached the house of Narinder Singh and Kala Singh, where the accused assaulted and abused the police team. Before the police could catch the accused Gurpreet Singh, he fled from the spot with his accomplice Narinder Singh. The police registered a case against Gurpreet Singh and Kala Singh and Kala Singh's mother Rajinder Kaur and arrested Rajinder Kaur.
