Hamirpur, 19 April (HS). Two people, including an elderly woman, died in a road accident in the district on Friday evening. There is an uproar among the family members due to the death of two people in the accident. The police have taken the dead bodies into their custody and sent them for post-mortem.
According to the information, at around 4 pm, Rajesh Kumar Singh, son of Ramkumar Singh, aged about 52 years, resident of Bandhur, an elderly police station Binwar, under Binwar police station area, was going to the fields on foot. The overloaded dumper filled with Maurang got hit by the vehicle. Due to which he died on the spot. On information, Binwar police station reached the spot, took possession of the body and conducted post-mortem and Panchayatnama. The vehicle that caused the incident has been taken into custody. Advance legal action will be taken on the basis of the complaint given by the family members.
Here, in Kheda Shilajit village of Jariya police station, an old woman who was picking Mahua on the roadside was hit hard by a young man riding a speeding bike. The seriously injured old woman was taken to CHC for treatment. Where the doctors declared him dead. Kamli Rani, 65, wife of Kadhora, resident of Kheda Shilajit village, was picking Mahua on the roadside near her farm on Friday morning. At the same time, a young man riding a bike at high speed hit the old woman hard.
