‘Hamas will never regain power if we do not withdraw troops from Gaza’, Netanyahu’s big announcement

Israel Hamas War: Israel’s Defense Minister Israel Katz said its troops would remain deployed in Gaza and maintain security control over the Palestinian territories. His statement will help in the ongoing talks for ceasefire between Israel and Hamas.

During a visit to a buffer zone on the Gaza-Egypt border, Katz said that security control in Gaza would remain in the hands of the IDF (Israel Defense Forces). The security areas, buffer zones within the Gaza Strip will remain under control to ensure the safety of the people of Israel. No Hamas government or Hamas army will come here.

Israel stopped the ceasefire talks midway. Explaining the reason behind doing so, the Israeli government said, Israel wants to hold internal discussions to discuss the release of our hostages. So he called his team back. After deliberations we will discuss the ceasefire issue again. The team included senior officials from the Mossad, the Shin Bet security agency, and the heads of the Israel Defense Forces. Hamas wants to end the war completely. However, Israel wants a ceasefire with certain conditions. After the ceasefire, Israel is insisting on military presence in the Palestinian territories.
