Hamas chief's three sons, two grandsons killed in Israeli airstrike

Cairo: It has been more than six months since the war between Israel and Hamas started. Israel continues attacks on Gaza. At present, three sons and two grandsons of top Hamas leader Ismail Haniyeh have been killed in Israeli air strikes on Wednesday.

Hamas leader Ismail Haniya told Al-Jazeera satellite on Wednesday that his sons Hazem, Amir and Mohammed and two grandsons were traveling in a car when Israel launched an airstrike on the al-Shati camp in Gaza. His son was killed on the way to liberate Jerusalem and the Al-Aqsa Mosque. The enemy is moving ahead with the spirit of revenge and massacre and does not care about any measures or laws. Ismail Haniya lives in Qatar, where Al-Jazeera is headquartered. Israel destroyed Haniya's family home in an airstrike in the Gaza Strip in November, Haniya said. If you think that targeting my sons will force Hamas to relent, you are wrong. Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu has vowed to increase attacks on the southern Gaza city of Rafah. Netanyahu has repeatedly said Israel should send troops to Rafah, Hamas's last stronghold in Gaza.
