Whenever it comes to beauty, it is important to take care of both skin and hair. Many people have curly and dry hair. In such a situation, you use different types of beauty products available in the market. Some people also adopt home remedies. The most common of which is applying henna on hair. Many of you might be using henna to add shine to your hair and to turn white hair back to black. But if you make some mistake then you will not get the correct result.

Know which mistakes should be avoided

Some people add many types of things to it while applying mehndi. But there are many things which, if mixed or applied incorrectly, can harm your hair. Today we will tell you which mistakes should be avoided while applying henna on hair.

Do not add lemon or curd

Some people add lemon juice while soaking the henna, but this is not recommended. Because lemon juice is acidic. Due to which your hair starts becoming dry. Similarly, many people also add curd to mehendi. But this will not give proper results.

– Soak the mehendi for some time

If you want your hair color to get better after applying henna, then you should use it only after soaking it for at least 8 to 12 hours. If you keep it soaked for less time than this, you will not get the correct result. You can soak the mehendi overnight and then use it the next day.

Do not mix in plastic bowl

While mixing henna, people mix it in a plastic bowl. But for this you should use stainless steel or iron bowl. Because by doing this more color comes out. Also, spatula should also be used to mix it.

Do not mix with normal water

Most people use plain water while mixing mehendi. But due to this the color of henna will not look good on your hair. Therefore, you can use coffee or tea water instead of normal water to soak the mehendi. But keep in mind that let the water cool down. Then soak the mehendi with its help.
