Summers have started and with this season also comes the need for extra care of our skin and hair. Due to sweat, both skin and hair become oily and sticky, which does not look good.
To deal with this, many people start washing their hair daily or every other day. However, washing your hair too frequently can damage it. Therefore, it is recommended to wash your hair only twice a week. Many people also use expensive hair products available in the market, but these products may contain chemicals that can harm your hair.
To solve the problem of sticky and oily hair due to sweat, you can make hair masks at home with easily available ingredients using home remedies.
Yogurt Hair Mask
Yogurt is a probiotic, which helps control excess oil production and can help balance oily hair. To make this mask, mix one tablespoon of baking soda, 1-2 tablespoons of lemon juice and one egg white in half a cup of plain curd. Apply this paste on your hair and leave it for 20-30 minutes before washing. You can use this hair mask once a week.
Multani Mitti
Multani mitti is beneficial not only for skin but also for hair. It can add shine to your hair and make them soft. To use, soak multani mitti overnight, then mash it well the next morning to make a thin paste. Apply this paste on your hair and wash it with normal water after 10-15 minutes. You can add a few drops of lemon juice and honey to Multani Mitti for added benefits.
