Had given a gold chain to Lord Ganesha, forgot to remove it during immersion, family searched for it for 10 hours! | News India

Ganesh Utsav is being celebrated all over the country and people who had invited Bappa to their homes are now immersing him. On this occasion, many people offer gold and silver ornaments to Lord Ganesha and adorn him. But many times people forget to remove the ornaments offered to the Lord at the time of immersion. Then many people immerse those ornaments in water (gold chain with Ganesha idol) and collect and sell them. A family from Bengaluru did the same. He offered a gold chain to the Lord, but forgot to remove it at the time of immersion. After this, the family searched for the ornaments for 10 hours. With great difficulty, their luck shone and they found the ornaments.

According to a Times of India report, the incident took place near Dasarahalli Circle in Vijayanagar, Bengaluru (Bengaluru couple forgot gold chain after immersing it in water). Teacher couple Ramaiah and Uma Devi installed the idol of Ganpati in their house on the occasion of Ganesh Utsav. They decorated the idol with flowers and jewellery. A 60 gram gold chain worth about Rs 4 lakh was also offered to the Lord. Last Saturday night, they reached the mobile tank to worship the Lord. After immersion, he realised that he forgot to take off the gold chain.

The chain was also immersed along with the idol
And then, about an hour later, they again reached the immersion site. Some youths who were to immerse the idol were present near the mobile tank. They saw the chain but at that time they thought that the chain was fake. The couple immediately contacted the Magadi Road Police Station and Govindarajanagar MLA Priya Krishna and asked for their help.

Spoke to Lankesh D, the contractor who installed the tank. The boys present near the tank searched for the chain for some time but could not find it at that time. But when the family got permission, they poured 10 thousand liters of water from the tank. The soil of the remaining idols was put in the tank. After searching for the chain, they found it at 1 am the next day, which was returned to the couple. About 10 people together invented this chain.
