H1-B Visa: Registration for H-1B visa will be closed from this date

Washington: Early registration for H-1B visas, the most sought-after for foreign workers in the US for fiscal year 2025, will end on March 22 at 12 noon Eastern time. The US Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) said on Monday that during this period, potential applicants and legal representatives must use an online account to register each beneficiary for the selection process and pay the registration fee.

According to a press release, Application Form I-129 for Nonimmigrant Worker and Application Form I-907 for Premium Services are now available on USCIS's online account. The H-1B visa is a non-immigrant visa that allows US companies to hire foreign workers in specialized occupations that require theoretical or technical expertise. Technology companies rely on this policy to hire thousands of employees every year from countries like India and China.

Filings and rejections will be accepted from April 1st

USCIS will begin filing online forms for H-1B cap petitions on April 1. “We will announce when the ability to file non-cap H-1B petitions online will be available,” USCIS said.
